In November 2016, BOOK FACE opened in The Marketplace and the enthusiasm of the local community has been overwhelming.
BOOK FACE Gungahlin is home to an extensive selection of children’s books and a wide range of adult genres. We have a strong focus on representing the diversity within our community; including LGBTQIA+, disability and neurodiversity, mental health, feminism, First Nations, race and culture. We strive to provide the Gungahlin area with a safe place to discover the stories and information that they seek.
At BOOK FACE Gungahlin we want to encourage a passion for literature and reading, and to pass that love down through the coming generations. We work with local schools, keeping their libraries stocked with a current and varied range of reading materials.
The store is located in the centre of The Marketplace with two entrances, one directly on Hibberson Street and the other inside the Kmart building. There is underground parking at The Marketplace, and access to public transport via the bus and Light Rail located just around the corner.
