Join us at Springfield Central Library, Friday 8th July at 10am to meet author and illustrator Aunty Rhonda & Jacki Ferro for some interactive play as we explore the newly released Bobtail's Friend.

Bring the kids along for some free school holiday fun to help us celebrate NAIDOC week and learn to walk tall and proud in the skin we're in.

Balharda the bobtail felt pretty in her necklace of wildflowers. But the Bidi-bidi butterflies laughed and said she was ugly. Who will be bobtail’s friend? In this Aboriginal Dreaming story, follow Balharda downriver from the desert to the sea and learn how words can hurt or heal, and how making friends can open up whole new worlds. -

BOOK FACE Orion will be selling copies of ‘Bobtail’s Friend’ at the event, as well as the previous release ‘Grandfather Emu’ and there will be an opportunity to have your own copy signed by Aunty Rhonda and Jacki Ferro.
