Australian crime writer and book addict Dinuka McKenzie is back with her latest Detective Kate Miles thriller, Tipping Point. She’ll be joining us as part of our Women who Write month of celebrations this March, in conversation with journalist, author, and Queensland Sister in Crime chapter president, Megan Norris.
Dinuka’s contemporary domestic rural mysteries are characterised by vivid imagery and fast-paced plotlines that leave readers on the edge of their seat. Her debut crime novel, The Torrent introduced readers to her lead character Detective Kate Miles, a strong fictional female character that drives her policer style thrillers. Tipping Point is her third novel.
Join Dinuka in person as she chats about her writing journey, why she is drawn to writing about Australian rural crime, and the attraction of sharing stories that thrill her readers and help them escape from the demands of daily life.
